Tuesday's Finds

Here are my latest picks from the Spokane Craigslist.  Enjoy!

This Craigslist listing reminds me of a wonderful gift I received for Christmas this year.  A dear family friend made mittens out of reclaimed materials from a sweater of my grandmothers and a skirt of my mothers.  Giving these pre-loved items new life in a way I can use during Spokane's freezing winters makes me love the mittens even more.

Bernat Soft Boucle Yarn 5 New Balls
$10

5 Balls of Bernat Soft Boucle Yarn brand new. From a smoke free home. Finished my project and had some left over, I also have about 1/2 of a 6th ball that I will give you for free if you are interested. All the same color number 22927, with no dye lot. 5 oz. each. Super soft and pretty yarn. Mottled medium brown in color.

Purchase information and original post can be found here:  Yarn

A regular chocolate fondue dessert costs $32 at the downtown Spokane Melting Pot.  The opportunity to be green and save some green by buying pre-owned and having dessert at home makes this find even sweeter:

Chocolate Fondue Set
$10

This chocolate fondue set from Trudeau has a capacity of 12 ounces. This is a complete 7 piece set. Included are 1 stoneware bowl, 1 steel base, 1 tea light, 4 stainless steel fondue forks along with instructions and recipes inside.

The seller provides a lot more information in the original post (including the purchasing info) which can be found here: Fondue Set

I find rocking horses to be one of those iconic childhood toys.  Keep your carbon footprint from expanding by giving your child this used rocking horse and you'll be giving two gifts in one, giving your child hours of fun while teaching them what it means to be a responsible consumer.

Wooden Rocking Horse
$17

Heavy duty wooden rocking horse.

Original post and purchase information can be found here:  Rocking Horse

My hands-down all-time favorite find is your dining room set which we found at the Spokane Goodwill for $60.  It is a large table with six chairs from the same era as these fun dinette chairs:

Pair of Vintage Chrome Legged Dinette Chairs
$20

Pair of vintage 1950's kitchen chairs tan and chrome, very sturdy and in good shape.

Purchase information and original post can be found here:  Chairs

These hammock chairs always look like a fun place to relax and seem to be a lot easier to get into than the classic hammock.

Chair Hammocks
2 of them
$7

Chair hammocks ready to hang and sit in. Maximum weight is 150lbs.

Purchase information and original post can be found here:  Hammock Chairs

The cheapest comparable hammock chair I could find online was $15 for one.

Happy hunting and as always please share your fun Craigslist finds!
